The Cambridge English Dictionary defines inclusivity as “the quality of trying to include many different types of people and treat them all fairly and equally”. Inclusivity occurs when everyone within a team, group, organization, or collective feels involved, valued, respected, and that they are being treated fairly.
Why is inclusivity important?
Inclusivity helps develop trusting environments, fosters positive workplace cultures, and allows individuals to experience a sense of belonging. When we recognize and appreciate diversity in society, we use different and unique ways of thinking, which can foster innovation (Arvanitakis and Hornsby, 2016).
What will I learn?

You will explore ways to create diverse, equitable, and inclusive situations, contexts, communities, and societies where everyone is valued and included. You will learn the importance of respecting differences and the value of connecting with people who are different from you.
